Yan Fang successfully made his South Korea debut with the sold-out concert with the Daegu Symphony Orchestra, led by Artistic Director Jin Hyoun Baek, at the Daegu Concert House. Yan was invited as a visiting artist for the inaugural Daegu International Piano Festival, hosted by Daegu (designated as a City of Music by UNESCO) and the Daegu Symphony Orchestra. This concert served as the festival’s closing event. Yan Fang Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No.1 with Marrinsky Philharmonic Orchestra at Marrinsky Theatre Alania, Led by Maestro Leonid Korchmar (Artist of the Russian Federation Medal). This concert was dedicated to Yan Fang's Grandfather, who passed away on Yan's trip to this performance.

Yan Fang was invited to give a recital for Xiamen, the cultural island of Xiamen-Kulangsu(Gulangyu), which was named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Pianist Francis Fang performs the first movement of J.S. Bach Italian Concerto in F Major BWV 971 in 2006. He was 9 years old at the time of this performance.
